I am an instructional designer and eLearning developer with experience in the fields of healthcare and education. I love to find fun ways to enhance learner engagement and meet the needs of the client.
As an Instructional Designer, I design my courses to align with the desired learning objectives (LOs) while simultaneously creating learner-centered content and interactions. I have many years of experience in designing and developing courses and lessons that are engaging and effective. To accomplish this, I use use backwards design along with the ADDIE and SAM processes. I work with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to review their goals and select the appropriate training methods and tools to reach their desired outcome.
I pride myself in being fully bilingual in English and Spanish, detail oriented, timely and responsible, tech savvy, and in being an avid life-long learner, continuously trying to find new ways to incorporate new technology tools.
When I'm not working, I enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, fixing cars, and spending time with my family.
